How do I make a Payment?

You can make a payment through our website with your online account at www.TriStateMiniStorage.com.  You can also mail a check or Money order to P.O. Box 770, Proctorville, OH 45669.  To opt out of our AutoPay please contact us at (740) 744-5064, otherwise payments are automatically deducted from your credit card/debit card.

How can I rent a Unit? 
You rent a unit by going to our website or calling us. 

Do I have to sign a lease or can I rent a unit on a month-to- month basis? 
Our leases are on a month to month basis and do require a rental agreement signature upon renting. 

What notice do you require before I move out? 
We require a 15 day advanced notice of move out to avoid charges for the next monthsrent .Please call the office on the day you clean out, sweep out and remove your personal lock from your unit. Keep in mind. If you have recurring billing your payment will be automatically taken from your account on the 1st of every month.  Upon notification of move out the automatic billing will be stopped.

What are the days and hours that I may access my storage unit? 
7 days a week, Gate hours are 6 am to 10 pm.

What are the office hours? 
You can reach the manager at our offsite Accounting Office at (740) 744-5064 Monday - Saturday 8am to 5pm, Sunday noon-5pm or by email at rentspace247@gmail.com.  Units can be rented online at any time through our website http://www.tristateministorage.com


Do you require insurance on the contents of my storage unit? 

Our Lease Agreement asks that all tenants have valid insurance on their stored goods.  Tenants will want to check with their current homeowners or renters insurance policy for extension of coverage, or purchase a renters insurance policy themselves.  Our insurance does not cover tenant belongings. Tenants store at their own risk. 


What information do I need to provide so that I may rent a storage unit? 
Email address, Driver’s License number, mobile number.  

How can I rent a storage unit? 
You may rent a unit or units online at www.TriStateMiniStorage.com or by calling the manager at (740) 744-5064.

Will I receive a monthly "bill"? 
You will only receive a monthly invoice by e-mail or by text. For a minimal Fee, we will send an invoice by mail. 

What forms of payment do you accept? 
We accept checks, money orders, ACH payments (automatic draft), Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express. 

When is my rental fee due? 
Rent is due on the 1st of each month. We prorate the first month if necessary.  After 5 days non-payment, a $15 late fee will be applied.  After the 15th day late, gate access will be denied and unit will be overlocked and an additional $10 late fee will apply. If your payment is not received by the 28th, Pre-lien process may begin. This may include fees up to $225 up until the completion of Auction. 

Do I need to provide my own lock? 
We provide a complimentary Disc-Lock for your storage unit at the time of rental. 
 
What if I or one of my guests damages my unit or another building or fixture on the property? 
We have security cameras on site and any damages that might occur must be reported to the manager at (740) 744-5064

Can I get a refund? 

Yes, when you vacate your unit and have a credit on your account a refund will be issued.  We do not prorate moving out. 

What if I forget my Gate Code? 
If you have access to our online site your code is provided there, if you do not have access you may call the office. 

Is the facility Gated? 
Yes, with keypad access entry.
